Revitalizing Massage Oil Unscented
Massage tables come in many shapes and sizes. Choosing the right product can be confusing for you (the customer), but we’re here to help!
Many customers call us after purchasing the wrong size massage table elsewhere and we want to help you avoid this mistake. It usually goes something like this; they like the look of the massage table photos on the website, they like the low price, and then they check if they can handle the weight. If the carrying weight suits their needs, they click add to cart and the new massage table will be on their doorstep within a few days. Unfortunately, they assume that all massage beds are roughly the same width and size.
Standard dimensions for massage tables are 28″ wide (71cm) and 73″ (185cm) long. One of the reasons many “light” budget massage beds are so cheap is because
Make sure the massage table is the right size for you and your client, as a narrow 61cm massage table can be very uncomfortable for someone who is not short, and many clients cannot relax without support for their shoulders and arms.

Almost all therapists opt for the standard 28″ wide massage table. All our massage beds are the same length, so only the width and size are determined by our clients.
Your massage table should be spacious enough to accommodate clients of all shapes and sizes. It needs to be wide enough to comfortably fit your treatment style, but narrow enough to ensure you don’t strain your back during treatment. Every therapist’s postural training and abilities are different, so only you know the width of the massage table you can handle. We’ve talked to therapists who got a 5′ long and 30″ wide massage table, we’ve talked to a 6′ therapist who has back issues and uses a 25″ wide massage table. Everyone is different. In general, if you are petite, you may do better with one of the 25″ massage tables. If you are tall, or especially want to provide your clients with a very spacious experience, a 30-inch massage table may be more suitable. If you are in doubt, you can visit your local training institute to see if a massage table is right for you. However, there’s another way to get a feel for what works when you decide you can’t sit on the couch: Cut a piece of cardboard to the size of the two you’re deciding on. Put it on the kitchen table, leaning against it. Picture a client lying there and see which width works best for you and your client.
Make sure you’re close enough to the table so your waist can be turned, your shoulders are at right angles to the client’s hips, and your hands are parallel to the client’s spine. Working in this position will ensure an injury-free career, so this is an important factor in your decision. The most popular massage table widths are 28″ and 30″. We sell 25″ massage tables, but if you’re short, you really should go for this width, and wide massage tables can be at your own risk in your career. If you want to get the lightest massage table, you can also choose 25 inches. Reducing the width of the massage table can also save weight. Now, for some clients, this may mean a trade-off in comfort, but if you’re a fully mobile therapist and use public transport a lot, saving a kilo or two over time will pay off affects you, the tradeoff is often worth it.
Today, almost all portable massage beds come with height-adjustable legs. The massage table you choose should have a wide range of heights to accommodate you and multiple treatments. A common height range for massage beds is 60 to 80 cm, and this height range should suit everyone. Check the height your massage table needs to reach by following this rule: 1. Stand up straight with your arms at your sides. Close your fists. 2. Measure the distance between the floor and the knuckles 3. This distance should be equal to the height of the massage table. 4. Increase the height of the massage table a few inches to fit the patient’s body. The height of a massage table is usually only adjusted when different therapists use the same massage table, or if your client exceeds the average size for your usual treatments. So, for example, if a person of medium build comes in for treatment with a lot of body depth, you may need to adjust the height a notch or two. You will be able to adjust the height of the massage table within 2-3 minutes. While you may not adjust the height very often, when you do, the sooner the better! Modern massage tables have 2 height adjustment mechanisms. 1) Rotary knobs (only found on wooden massage tables): If you are using a wooden massage table, it is a good idea to have two knobs on each of the four legs for strength and reliability. When buying online, check the number of knobs on the legs. Inexpensive massage beds usually only have one knob, and they’re less stable and break when you lift your leg to maximum height. 2) Telescopic button (aluminum massage table only): the height adjustment method of aluminum massage table
